Providing NHS services
The CQC is responsible for regulating care for both the NHS and Independent Health Care providers. Tyneside Surgical Services is a registered provider with the Care Quality Commission which means that we have met the rigorous essential standards of quality and safety and are therefore licensed to provide services.
Our services are underpinned by NHS indemnity. We are a member of the NHS Litigation Authority Scheme for Independent Providers.
Our last inspection showed there were systems in place to identify, assess and manage risks to the health, safety and welfare of people using the service.
